CODE OF CONDUCT

Our Code of Conduct is a set of regulations that specify how a company or organization must run its business in order to do so in an ethically, socially and/or environmentally responsible way. Our Code of Conduct is based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the ILO’s (International Labour Organisation’s) conventions on working conditions and rights in the workplace.
All producers must sign our Code of Conduct, thereby undertaking to comply with its requirements.

The Code of Conduct covers the following areas:

– Laws and regulations
– Freedom of association and the right to collective negotiations
– Ban on discrimination
– Ban on child labor
– Ban on forced labor
– Wages and payments
– Working hours
– Working environment, health and safety
– Administration and documentation
– Environmental issue
